It’s interesting how easily we drag ourselves into a parallel universe in which the reality bends to our desire, especially if we are not satisfied with upcoming events or recent personal or professional developments. It’s precisely like pausing a game when things have gone south - chilly.
Those life’s devilments blossom this desire to control what’s incontrollable, so the go to that special place where we are acquainted to the king, where living is an adventure inconsequently.
Bandeiras was right, life can be fun if you don’t stick to it, but… what happens when you have to return? Your predicaments are there, hours, days, years waiting patiently for your arrival just to remind you how sweetly bitter your life is.
I know, we just say those things when we are down. Let’s be honest, no one wastes time thinking things through if there isn’t an issue to be resolved.
